OPTIMIST  FLAG  FOOTBALL  SIGN-UP

Canyon Lake Optimists will begin registration for their second season of  7on7 flag football on Monday, Feb 6^th at Goin’ Postal on Hwy 306 (call 830/935-2578).  The very successful and FUN program was very well received by the community in the initial season, and the Optimists are expecting an even bigger turn-out this year!! 

The league is open to boys AND girls ages 7-12 and is designed to be a FUN sports experience for the KIDS.

Saturday games will be held in April/May and volunteer coaches and referees are also needed.  Come out and help the Optimists in “Bringing Out the Best in KIDS”

Registration will also be available at CRRC from 2-5 pm each Saturday starting Feb 4^th and ending on March 3^rd.

• Have fun and meet new friends!

• Learn the “TEAM” concept and what it takes to work as a team.

• Teach each child self worth and give them self confidence.

• Encourage each child to strive to do their best each day.

• Sportsmanship, learn how to be graceful in victory and defeat.

• Learn to set goals and exceed your expectations.

• Learn respect for each teammate and coach by learning to play by the rules.

• Integrity, responsibility, ethics, morals, leadership, and commitment to excellence.

• Learning never to give up at what you want to do.  

It is our goal for all kids to be active. We hope that you have fun, meet new friends and enjoy the activities that we have planned.
